“First Friday” Fora

“First Friday” fora offer informal opportunities to confer with Senate leadership from various university campuses (akin to office hours). They are geared for faculty from all ranks and appointment types, to raise issues and questions to Senate Officers. There is no formal agenda. Please consider participating if you:

  • Can’t attend monthly Senate meetings;
  • Aren’t ready to raise a question or issue in the public Open Forum of regular monthly Senate meetings but would like to share it in a smaller venue;
  • Have a question or concern and aren’t sure what part of faculty governance or the administration might be able to help address it.
